Awards Congratulations

A huge congratulations to our cast of ‘Jack and the Incredible Beanstalk’ and Kingsley Players Youth Theatre‘s cast of ‘Chatroom’ for their success in the Cheshire Theatre Guild Awards 2020. 

 ‘Chatroom’ was named Best Youth Production, and took awards home for Best Male Actor in a Youth Production (Ben Mather-Dodd), Best Female Actor in a Youth Production (Eva Lemmy) and Best Lighting and Sound in a Youth Production. 

Guy Pearson, who played PC Plod in ‘Jack and the Incredible Beanstalk’ earlier this year, was named Most Promising Male Actor in a Youth Production. 

Additionally members and productions of Kingsley Players were nominated for: 

Most Promising Male Actor in a Youth Production (Kristopher Duffin – William, ‘Chatroom’) 

Best Costume in a Youth Production, The Award for Best Director of a Youth Production 

(Jake Powell); Most promising female actor in a youth production (Teigan Withey, “Sally” in Jack and the Incredible Beanstalk) 

Jack and the Beanstalk was nominated for The James Tait Award for best production with musical content and in the category the “Oh Yes You have!” trophy for pantomime
