All Spring Productions Postponed

We have sadly taken the decision to cancel all our productions this spring due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and postpone them to the autumn.

‘How the Other Half Loves one of Alan Ayckbourn’s most popular plays, was due to be on stage at the end of April for five performances. The story is a classic, bitter sweet comedy of 1960s manners and marital disharmony. This will now move to a new slot in October 2020.

And two productions linked together as a Lewis Carroll Festival, which were due to be staged in mid-May, have now been postponed until September 2020. This double bill features a production of the children’s classic tale ‘Alice in Wonderland’, performed Kingsley Players Youth Theatre. This will include three performances and feature a Saturday afternoon Mad Hatter’s children’s tea party.

And for one performance only, there will be an opportunity to catch a new play ‘Alice’s Quest for Wonderland: Down the rabbit hole with Lewis Carroll’, written by our own award-winning writer and director Lynn Pegler. Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, it will uncover the true story of the enigmatic Daresbury children’s author and his relationship with the real Alice.

New arrangements for these great productions will be posted here on website.
