Audition for “Jack and the Incredible Beanstalk”

We will be holding auditions for another of our fun-filled pantos on Sept 22nd 2019 4pm-6pm at Kingsley Community Centre. Show week is January 29th– February 1st, including a Saturday matinee. Rehearsals for all will be late Sunday afternoons in Kingsley (4-6pm approx.) with a weeknight additionally for principals.

Written by our own Arnold Ashbrook the story of Jack and his adventures is packed full of delightful songs which accompany the story as Jack and his family try to sell poor old Ethel the cow, in the process come across the incredible beanstalk, meet a host of colourful characters and finally reach a happy ending as Jack has to rescue Ethel and Sally, and defeat the evil Giant and the Witch.

A strong chorus of villagers and gremlins

Jack, his sister Jill, his romantic interest Sally plus their friends Simon and Minny


Sally’s father Cranston Briddlebog

Grizelda, the wicked witch

Bernie and Bert, the inept burglars

PC Plod

Florrie and Doris, our classic panto dames

Ethel, the cow

And the voice of the Giant Blunderbore
