New Box Office Manager

New box office manager needed – be part of a lively, fun community group!

We are sad to report that Sue Blanchard, who has kindly managed the Kingsley Players Box Office for several years, has decided to take a rest and would like to hand over the job to someone else. We thank her very much for all the enthusiasm, time and energy she has has devoted to the task. It has been much appreciated by both players and audience members who have booked their tickets for our shows with her help.

Moving forwards, we are therefore looking for someone (or a team of people) who would be willing to take on this role.

Job Description

The Box Office Manager plays a key role in ensuring Kingsley Players’ productions run smoothly. The post holder is the public face of our group to our audience and as such performs a vital task for keeping the whole show on the road!

The job involves selling tickets through the website, being the keeper of the KP box office mobile phone and liaising with Holland Pharmacy to sell tickets.

If you fancy getting more involved with the group and would enjoy the responsibility of taking on this vital role, then we would love to hear from you.

A limited competency with computers is desirable but a full and supportive hand over will be offered to the person/persons taking over.

It would be helpful to have someone in post very soon so they can shadow the role during the December panto, with a view to stepping into the job in the new year.

If you would like to discuss the role further, please get in touch with our Chairman Lynn Pegler as soon as possible on 01928 789042.
