Summary of NODA adjudication for Cinderella
We have received the adjudication for Cinderella from NODA Northwest written by Louise Colohan. Full of praise for “a witty, highly energised and very original production which was well received by all in attendance”, the author loved the music, all the songs, the characterisation and the diversity of ages in the show. Louise enjoyed all the characters and everyone from cast, stage, lighting, sound, costumes, choreography, and even the director, received high praise.
The report concluded with a statement that sums up everything we were trying to achieve – “Overall this was a fun family show. The display on stage at the final curtain made me certain that this group are a family, a very tight knit, great team. The sense of community was apparent and Kingsley Players have really brought great theatre to the area, giving high quality performances and a place for young people to develop their skills. I commend the team that put this production together. All in all it was a great night at the theatre.”
Everyone involved should be justly proud of their achievement. The awards that we have been nominated for will be announced on 13th January so watch this space!
